Dubai: A 26-year-old Saudi man, who suffers from mental illness, has gone missing from his family’s house in Taif for five days.

Security efforts and volunteer rescue teams in Taif Governorate are continuing to intensify the search for Bandar Muqbil Farhan Al Harthi, who was last seen on Sunday.

Khalid, his brother, said: “We have lost contact with Bandar since Sunday after he took my car, which later was found abandoned in front of a shop at the Industrial City in Taif.”

He appealed for public help in finding his brother. “My brother suffers from mental illness. When he disappeared, he was wearing jeans and a white T-shirt,” and was riding 2018 Hyundai Elantra, white colour.”

Khalid filed a missing-person report with police and informed all security authorities about his brother’s disappearance. He also contacted the “Sa’ad” search and rescue team to help in the search for his brother.
