Dubai: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan along with his wife, Bushra Bibi, performed Umrah during his visit to Saudi Arabia for the 14th Summit of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Makkah.

Videos and pictures from his pilgrimage circulated online.

According to a report by Pakistan daily, The News, during the pilgrimage, the premier prayed for the peace and prosperity for his country and the unification of Muslims around the world.

Khan’s political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf used their official Twitter account @PTIofficial and shared a video of the leader in Makkah.

Khan was accompanied by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan along with other officials. The OIC summit titled ‘Makkah Summit: Together for the Future’ was held today. It was hosted by Saudi King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz and it aims to discuss current issues and events in the Islamic world.
