Three Saudis arrested for shooting, setting fire to speed radars in Mecca

Abu Dhabi: Three Saudi men were arrested after shooting and setting fire to speed radars in Mecca, police said.

Two of the trio shot radars in Ta’if, while the third set fire to a third radar, said Major Mohammed Al Ghamdi, spokesperson for Mecca Police.

It was not immediately known why they committed their offences.

Major Al Ghamdi added the trio were remanded in custody pending trial.
