Saudi Foreign Minister calls for swift inspection of Iran nuclear sites
Dubai: Saudi Arabia Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Monday met Rafael Grossi, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) during an official visit to Austria, state news agency SPA said.
They discussed the most prominent developments concerning Tehran’s nuclear programme, and emphasised the importance of imposing necessary mechanisms for a swift and comprehensive inspection of all Iranian nuclear sites.
They stressed the need for Iran to end its violations of international laws and norms that destabilise security and stability in the region and the world at a whole.
They also highlighted the importance of Iran’s adherence to IAEA’s standards to ensure realisation of sustainable development regionally and globally.
The foreign minister and the IAEC chief exchanged views over key regional and international developments.
