Saudi Arabia's King Salman meets with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo

Both sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries

Dubai: US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo met Thursday with Saudi Arabia’s king Salman reported Saudi press agency.

During the meeting both sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries, the overall regional and international events, and their stand on them, and the efforts made towards them.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday to discuss regional security, according to the US State Department. he will be meeting with King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman over the next two days.

According to Saudi press agency Mike Pompeo arrived on Wednesday at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and was received by Princess Reema bint Bandar, Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America, and Azzam Bin Abdulkarim Al Gain, undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Protocol Affairs.
