Saudi Arabia: Well-known tea seller Abu Walid dies of COVID-19

In last tweet, he spoke about livelihood and love of people

Dubai: Abu Walid, the well-known tea seller in Riyadh, died of COVID-19 on Tuesday, local media reported.

According to tweeters on social media platforms, Mishaal Saeed Al Otaibi, known as Abu Walid, famous for Shahi Al Jamr, died after contracting the coronavirus.

Messages of sympathy and condolences poured into social media sites as Abu Walid was known to most people in Riyadh. He was famous for his lasting smile and the flavour of his tea.

The last tweet Abu Walid wrote on his Twitter account was on March 18, in which he said, “The biggest livelihood is the love of people. Make sure to earn the love and respect of people for you … Beware of gaining sympathy, respect remains and sympathy goes.”
