Abu Dhabi: Two Saudi men and a Sudanese, who violated the residency laws, were arrested for posing as security men, police said.

Major Khaled Al Kreidis, media spokesman for the Riyadh police, said the trio stormed workers’ accommodation and seized their money and personal belongings.

The trio allegedly confessed to committing two incidents using the same modus operandi, Major Al Kreidis said.

They were remanded in custody and all preliminary legal measures were taken to move them to the Public Prosecution, pending further interrogation and trial, police said.
