Saudi and Yemeni suspects referred to Public Prosecution pending further investigation

Abu Dhabi: Two Saudis in their 20s and three Yemeni residents were arrested after breaking into a house in Madinah and stealing SR150,000 in cash and gold jewellery worth SR1.2 million.
The men were referred to the Public Prosecution for further interrogation and trial said Lieutenant Colonel Hussein Al Qahtani, media spokesman for the Madinah Police Department.
In a separate incident which occurred on Wednesday, two Saudi men and a Yemeni resident were arrested for SR380,000 in cash and gold after they broke into a house also in Madinah.
A large part of the stolen items were seized in the trio’s possession, said Al Qahtani.
