Dubai: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday night received Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at King Abdul Aziz International airport in Jeddah.

The visit of Sheikh Tamim, which comes upon an invitation from King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, is the second after January’s visit to attend the GCC Summit in AlUla.

It marks the latest sign of improving relations between the two Gulf nations after a three-year dispute, when the Kingdom and its allies broke off ties with Qatar in June 2017.

The two leaders discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen avenues of cooperation in various spheres. The Saudi Crown Prince and Sheikh Tamim exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments and efforts regarding them.
