Horror Saudi Arabia bus crash leaves 35 dead
Madinah: Thirty-five people died and four were injured in a traffic accident on Wednesday in Saudi Arabia’s Madinah province, the SPA news agency said, quoting the province’s police spokesman.
The accident took place on Hijrah road between Makkah and Madina.
The spokesman added that passengers were Asians and Arab performing Umrah, and that the accident happened after a bus collided with a heavy vehicle in Al Akhal Centre.
The injured were taken to Al Hamna Hospital.
Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah region, expressed his deepest condolences to the families of those who died.
He ordered the necessary medical care to be provided for the injured.
