Bahrain’s COVID-19 infection on the rise

Kingdom reports 713 new COVID-19 cases



Three more fatalities- two Bahraini women, aged 76 and 60, and an 80-year-old Bahraini man - were also reported, taking the death toll to 224.

Dubai: Bahrain is still experiencing a high daily COVID-19 infections with 713 new cases reported over the past 24 hours, taking the total number of confirmed infections 65,752 cases, including active cases, recoveries and deaths.

Meanwhile, 676 patients made full recovery, pushing the total number of patients recovered to 58,626.

Three more fatalities- two Bahraini women, aged 76 and 60, and an 80-year-old Bahraini man - were also reported, taking the death toll to 224.

The Health Ministry revealed that of today’s 713 new cases, 146 were expatriate workers, 563 contacts of local cases and four travel-related.

The ministry added that of the 6,902 active cases, 148 were receiving treatment and 52 in critical condition.
