Qatar reports 1,176 new COVID-19 cases

Dubai: Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health on Tuesday announced the detection of 1, 176 new coronavirus cases, bringing the country’s total infections to 89,579.

No fatalities have been reported, keeping the death toll at 99. According to the ministry’s daily update, 1,545 more infected patients have made full recovery, taking the total number of confirmed recoveries to 71,501.

Also, there are 17,979 active cases, including 1,087 critical and 225 seriously ill patients under intensive care, while the remaining cases are stable receiving medication at various medical facilities in the country.

During the past 24 hours 4,371 COVID-19 tests have been conducted, pushing the total tests conducted across the country to 328,941
