Qatar eases COVID-19 restrictions from today
Cinemas, museums, gyms, public transport allowed to operate at limited capacity
Cairo: Starting from today, Qatar eased restrictions in several services as part of a gradual plan to lift all curbs imposed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
They include reopening theatres and cinemas with 30 per cent of their usual capacity, allowing only the entry of the people who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Likewise, museums and public libraries can reoperate at 30 per cent of their capacity. Moreover, a gathering of maximum five persons, who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, are allowed indoor at home, while the number reaches 10 persons outdoors.
Public transport services, including the metro, are allowed to operate at 30 per cent of their normal capacity throughout the week, while smoking areas are closed and eating and drinking is banned.
Reduced capacity
Educational centres and private training facilities are allowed to provide their services at 30 per cent of their usual capacity provided that all instructors working in them have been fully inoculated. Likewise, nurseries are allowed to reoperate at 30 per cent provided that all their employees have been fully vaccinated.
Beauty parlours, barbershops, health centres, gyms and massage as well as sauna services are allowed to reopen at 30 per cent of their capacity with their employees and customers fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
All people are required to continue wearing face masks when they get outdoor unless a person is on his/her own while driving a car or with the family.
