COVID-19: Qatar announces 2 deaths, 418 new coronavirus cases

Dubai: Qatar on Monday reported 418 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of infections in the country to 104,016.

According to the latest coronavirus update, the Ministry of Public Health announced the death of two more people, pushing the death toll to 149.

Additional 884 coronavirus-infected people have fully recovered during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 100,627.

The new cases were detected after conducting 3,645 PCR tests over the last 24 hours, taking the total number of tested people to 416,327.

There are 3,389 active cases, including 617 critical patients and 139 seriously ill patients currently under intensive care.
