COVID-19: Qatar announces 1,189 new cases
Total number of cases in the country surpasses 20,000

Dubai: Qatar’ Ministry of Public Heath reported 1,189 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, bringing the total number of cases in the country to over 20,000.
The ministry also announced one new death and 254 new recoveries during the last 24 hours, pushing the country’s death toll to 14 and the number of recoveries to 2,753.
The ministry added that an additional 3215 new COVID-19 tests has resulted in the detection of the new cases, taking the total number of tests conducted so far to 127,769.
