Landslide in Oman: Two workers dead as soil caves in

Cairo: A landslide in Oman has killed two workers, the sultanate’s Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority said Sunday.

The landslide occurred in Al Dakhiliyah governorate in south-eastern Oman, the civil defence service added.

A third person sustained medium injuries in the incident and was transported to hospital by a company staff in the site, the service said on Twitter.

Oman has recently experienced heavy rainfall.
