COVID-19: 910 new cases raises Oman's tally to 39,060

The newly diagnosed cases include 535 Omanis and 375 foreign residents

Cairo: Oman Monday recorded 910 new cases of the novel coronavirus, raising to 39,060 the country's overall infections.

The latest report, carried by the Omani news agency ONA, shows a decrease of 287 cases compared to Sunday when 1,197 infections were confirmed in the sultanate.

The newly diagnosed cases include 535 Omanis and 375 foreign residents, the Health Ministry said Sunday.

Six more deaths from COVID-19 were reported, taking Oman's total such fatalities to 169.

The country's overall recoveries from the disease have reached 22,422 with the recovery of 1,222 more patients, according to the ministry.
