Cairo: An Indian expatriate in Kuwait has fatally stabbed his compatriot during a brawl, according to Kuwaiti media.
The crime occurred Saturday on a road in the Kuwaiti governorate of Al Ahamdi and the killer was arrested, a security source said. The cause of the fight was not immediately clear.
The source added that preliminary investigations revealed that an Indian expatriate, born in 1991, breathed his last after he was stabbed by a fellow man, who was remanded to be interrogated over circumstances of the crime.
The suspected killer is 27 years old.
The crime was the second to happen in Al Ahamdi in 24 hours. Earlier, a stateless man killed a Kuwaiti citizen and gave himself in to police. The motive for the murder was not disclosed.
