Kuwait Deputy Emir: ‘Everybody equal in front of law’

Kuwait City: Kuwait’s Deputy Emir and Crown Prince, Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, reiterated that nobody is ‘too big or too small before the law’ and that everybody is equal. Sheikh Nawaf conveyed this message to the Attorney General, Dharar Al Asousi, during a meeting on Saturday.

In a statement, Al Asousi confirmed that Sheikh Nawaf affirmed his continued support to enhance the role of the Public Prosecution in ensuring the law is applied to all.

On Saturday the Deputy Emir also met with parliament speaker Marzouq Al Ghanim, the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Sabah, Minister of Interior Anas Al Saleh and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Ahmed Al Nasser Al Sabah.
