COVID-19: Kuwait confirms 667 new cases, total infections now at 86,478
Cairo: Kuwait has confirmed 667 new cases of the coronavirus over the past 24 hours, a drop of 35 cases compared to the tally reported the day before, taking the country’s overall infections to 86,478, a health official said today.
The country’s total fatalities from COVID-19 has climbed to 535 with one new death, Health Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad added in an update.

There are 92 patients receiving intensive care treatment, Dr. Al Sanad said, according to the Kuwaiti news agency KUNA.
Kuwait’s total virus tests have reached 626,041 after 4,425 tests have been done over the past 24 hours.
The Health Ministry also said that 552 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, bringing to 78,209 the overall number of recoveries from the disease in Kuwait.
Earlier this week, Kuwait lifted a curfew imposed for over five months to limit the spread of COVID-19.
