Mother, daughter arrested in Bahrain for stealing water pumps

Dubai: Bahrain Police have arrested a 43-year-old woman and her 17-year-old daughter for allegedly stealing water pumps from a shop in Isa Town, local media reported.

Footage of the shoplifting that took place in a shop located in a well-known market soon went viral on social media. Police investigation led to the quick identification and arrest of the suspects.

The Director-General of the Southern Governorate Police Department said that all necessary legal measures have been initiated. The case is now with the Public Prosecution for further action.
