Bahrain announced that all educational institutions, including schools, universities and colleges, would remain closed for additional two weeks.
On February 25, Bahrain suspended all private and public schools, universities and nurseries across the kingdom for two weeks amid concerns over the coronavirus outbreak.
On February 24, the kingdom announced a travel ban on Iran.
Bahrain was among the first Arab countries to register coronavirus cases, all came from Iran.
The Bahraini authorities announced that a total of four cases have so far recovered from among the 49 infections reported in the country.
