Bahrain: Two Asians (a 31-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man) have been arrested in Bahrain on suspicion of locking up four Asian women and forcing them to participate in indecent activities, the Kingdom’s Ministry of Interior announced on Monday.

Brigadier Abdulaziz Al Rumaihi, Director-General of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science that after 12 minutes of receiving a call from the embassy of an Asian country in the Kingdom, the concerned authorities moved to the location, and an investigation led to identifying the suspects. They were arrested after obtaining a warrant from the Public Prosecution.

Meanwhile, two Asians have been also arrested on Sunday for illegally manufacturing and selling alcohol in a flat in Gudaibiya.

Al Rumaihi said that an investigation into received information led to identifying and arresting the suspects and confiscation of the items. Legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
