Gulf News wrongly reported/published the following:

The sentence: “From $78 billion in 2009, Bangladesh’s GDP has grown to over $45 billion in 2024.” It was part of the page 8 article, ‘Hasina’s win and democracy’s evolution’, Opinion section, published on January 11. It should have read as: “From $78 billion in 2009, Bangladesh’s GDP has grown to over $400 billion in 2024.”

We apologise for the error and any inconvenience it might have caused.

Gulf News is committed to being fair.

If there is an error in the newspaper, we will correct it promptly and fully.
