Police rush victim to hospital in Manila after knifing attack by common-law wife
Manila: In a shocking incident, a man was stabbed in his private parts by his common-law wife following a dispute. Local authorities reported that the victim was swiftly moved to the nearest hospital for urgent medical attention.
"The victim was noticed by people as he ran for help. Fortunately, we had a police officer on patrol, and our personnel promptly responded to rush him to the hospital," stated Police Captain Anthony Abundo in an interview with GMA News in Filipino.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the altercation occurred while the couple was on a date, escalating into a heated argument. Allegedly, the suspect became enraged when the conversation turned to the victim's past relationship.
Although the police confirmed that the victim has no immediate plans to press charges against the suspect, he remains hospitalised, recuperating from the traumatic stabbing incident.
