Rawalpindi: Known for making controversial statements, Pakistan's Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed received an electric shock on Friday when he was delivering an anti-India speech.

The Pakistan government had organised countrywide events to express its solidarity with the Kashmiri people on 'Kashmir Hour' on Friday and it was during one such programme that the incident took place. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.

Sheikh Rashid was addressing a gathering at his residence 'Lal Haveli' when he got the electric shock and suddenly recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"I got an electric shock... it was very sharp. But Modi cannot nullify this meeting," he said.
