The doors of Kaaba open for Pakistan Prime Minister

Videos of Imran Khan entering the Kaaba are circulating online

Dubai: The doors of the Kaaba were opened for Imran Khan as he performed Umrah on Wednesday as part of his two-day visit to Saudi Arabia.

The Pakistan Prime Minister’s official Instagram account, @imrankhan.pti, posted a video of him entering the Kaaba as a large crowd observed, took pictures and recorded videos. In the clip, Khan is seen wearing ehram (pure white clothing), worn performing Umrah and entering through the doors of the Kaaba along with authority figures.

The post said: “Prime Minister Imran Khan performed Umrah where he was received warmly by the people. The doors of Kaaba were opened for the Pakistani delegation.”

Currently, the video has been watched over 20,000 times.

Images and videos of Khan visiting the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah were also posted on his Instagram account.

The posts from Khan’s Saudi Arabia visit have been making rounds all over social media with netizens appreciating the warm welcome he has received.

Twitter user, Adil Nehal, @AdilNehal3, posted about further strengthening the relationship between the two countries: “The door of Kaaba opened for @ImranKhanPTI. He is our #PM, Pakistan’s PM feeling so much proud. May Allah make stronger ties between #PakSaudi.”
