Dubai: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has strongly refuted rumours about a split in his marriage.

He rubbished all rumours related to his marital life and said that Bushra Bibi, his third wife, is a blessing form Allah. Talking at a television show on Saturday night, he vowed to live with his wife Bushra "till his last breath".

Imran had earlier said that his marriage with Bushra was his "third and last innings".

Imran’s response came after a senior Pakistani journalist during a TV show had claimed that the couple had exchanged harsh words and that their marital life was passing through a shaky phase.

Nothing wrong

The journalist claimed common family friends interfered to bring down the simmering differences between the prime minister and the first lady.

Imran said "nothing is wrong" between them and strongly condemned such "fake news".

In an earlier interview with a TV channel, Imran’s wife Bushra had also said that Imran was not a leader of Pakistan but the entire Muslim world.

She had said then that only Khan could bring the needed change in Pakistan.
