Video: Indian cop carries hurt young man 1.5km on shoulders to a hospital

Bhopal: A policeman in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday carried an injured young man on his shoulders for around 1.5 kilometres only to admit him in a medical facility. He is recuperating in hospital.

The young man in question, Ajit, had fallen from a passenger train in Hoshangabad district.

Police in Bhopal was intimated about the incident and policeman Poonam Billaure along with driver Rahul Sakle reached the spot.

Finding it impossible to get their vehicle to the area, Billaure put the injured man on his shoulders and ran towards a nearby medical facility so as to not waste precious time.

Director General of Police V.K. Singh tweeted his appreciation for the policeman's conduct.
