Dubai: Is there a thing such as loving too much? A woman from the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, is seeking divorce from her husband for the most bizzare reason. He apparently loves her too much, and "doesn't fight" with her. News reports shared on social media, today, said the woman approached the Sharia court, just 18 months after marriage.

According to news reports on a Hindi daily, Dainik Jagaran, in her plea to the Sharia court, the woman from Sambhal district claimed that she could not digest her husband's love. She claimed: "Neither does he ever shout at me, nor has he ever disappointed me over any issue. I am feeling suffocated in such an environment. Sometimes he cooks for me, and also helps me in performing household chores."

"Whenever I make a mistake, he always forgives me for that. I wanted to argue with him. I do not need a life where the husband agrees to anything," she added.

Apparently, the Sharia court cleric was baffled when the woman gave this as the reason for seeking divorce. The cleric later rejected her plea calling it frivolous.

However, that didn't stop the woman. When the cleric refused to decide on the plea, the matter reached local panchayat (governing body) which also expressed its inability to decide on the matter.

When the woman was asked whether she had any other reason for seeking divorce, she responded in negative.

Meanwhile, the woman's husband said he always wanted to keep his wife happy. He has reportedly requested the Sharia court to return the case. The court has now asked the couple to resolve the matter mutually.
