Dubai: In a viral social media video, a man is seen dancing in front of police officers in Uttar Pradesh after he violated lockdown guidelines. The one-minute clip left Twitter users divided as many criticised the police force for their “indiscipline”.

Given the stressful situation, other users thought of the clip as “harmless fun”.
Tweep @Practicalindia4 said: “From the video it's looking as if it was really harmless fun everyone was having. The man looks more than willing and might have given the idea, given his dance skills. People and police are under a lot of stress. A warning would have been enough unless he was forced for no mistake.”
But some users were not amused.
Tweep @jastej posted: “ Today it's a man, tomorrow they can make a woman dance like this. Such things have to be nipped in the bud. Good decision to suspend him @etawahpolice.”
And tweep @KalpataruMoha15 posted: “@etawahpolice This type indiscipline is hurting the image of police department. So the action against the cop is justified.”
