Dubai: The leaders of the UAE, Egypt and Jordan highlighted the importance of finding a political horizon to return to two-state solution negotiations and called on Israel to stop all its practices that undermine the peace process, according to Al Arabiya.

This came in a joint statement that was issued after a tripartite summit that brought together His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al Sissi and Jordan’s King Abdullah II in Cairo on Sunday.

The statement underlined the need to restore calm and stop escalation in Jerusalem.
