Ramadan 2022: Sharjah Police, Emirates Red Crescent distribute iftar meals to motorists

Officers, volunteers hand out packs at traffic intersections under community initiative

Sharjah: Sharjah Police, in cooperation with Emirates Red Crescent Authority, have carried out a community initiative since the beginning of Ramadan by distributing iftar meals at traffic intersections in the cities of the emirate.

Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Al Dhahouri, Head of the Public Relations Department of Sharjah Police, said: “The distribution of iftar meals is one of the annual initiatives organised by the Sharjah Police General Headquarters with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, which embodies the noble values that the holy month urges, and activates the values and principles of Social responsibility, and the consolidation of the culture of goodness that characterises the UAE.”
