Emirati businessman Saif Hamarain passes away in London
Ras Al Khaimah: Well-known Emirati businessman Saif Rashid Hamarain passed away today in London at the age of 86 due to a terminal illness.
The late Saif Hamarain will be buried in Ras Al Khaimah upon the arrival of his body from London. Condolences will be accepted at his home in Al Nadiya area of Ras Al Khaimah.
The Emirati businessman was deeply respected by the community of Ras Al Khaimah and the entire UAE because to his philanthropic efforts.
He made significant contributions to the charitable and humanitarian sectors as he was actively involved in initiatives such as the construction of mosques, both domestically and internationally.
He was known for providing housing for the less fortunate and those with limited income, as well as for covering medical expenses for financially challenged patients, supporting their travel expenses for treatment abroad.
He also helped students from low-income families by paying their tuition fees.
He embarked on his professional journey at the young age of 11. The self-made businessman ventured into various fields, working in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia before eventually returning to the UAE.
After the formation of the Union, he delved into trade and investment, establishing businesses in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah. His resilience, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit led to his huge success.
