Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed discuss coronavirus

The two leaders discussed the ongoing efforts being made by the UAE authorities

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, today met His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, at Al Marmoom Heritage Village.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the ongoing efforts being made by the UAE’s concerned authorities to combat the spread of COVID-19.

“With my brother, Mohamed Bin Zayed, sending a message to our people that their health is the most important matter to us and the country’s resources are all utilized to ensure their safety….everyone is responsible…the UAE is united in the face of challenges, united to overcome crises….united to safeguard achievements…May Allah bless our people and Emirati society, and sustain health, safety and wellness,” Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid said after the meeting.

He also paid rich tributes to the nation’s dedicated men and unsung soldiers at the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, as well as health and security authorities, municipalities, economic circles and others. “You are discharging your duties faithfully, keeping our heads up… You still have to work more to accomplish this duty, and everyone should work with you to ensure that this period is overcome,” Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid added.

On his twitter page, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed said: “I met my brother Mohamed bin Rashed at Al Marmoom, where we discussed COVID19 and public health and safety. Under the direction of our President Sheikh Khalifa, all resources were made available to ensure public safety. We are all partners in facing this challenge”.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
