Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid meets with Polish President

The leaders discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop cooperation in UAE

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, today met with Andrzej Duda, President of the Republic of Poland, at Zabeel Palace in Dubai. His Highness received the Polish President and his accompanying delegation in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

At the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed expressed his hope that the visit would serve to strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations. The two sides discussed strategies to develop their relations in various domains, including food security, renewable energy, technology, space, agriculture, transportation, and tourism, among others.

Both parties reviewed various aspects of cooperation and emphasised their commitment to promote economic and investment cooperation between the UAE and Poland. They discussed ways to increase trade volumes and tourism, and to encourage the private sectors of both nations to explore new avenues of collaboration.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and President Duda also shared their perspectives on several regional and international issues of mutual interest during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; and  Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation.
