Dubai issues special stamp for passengers
Dubai: Immigration officers surprised Saudi visitors at Dubai International Airport on Thursday with a warm, special welcome.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai created a passport stamp to mark Saudi Arabia’s 88th National Day on September 23.

Passengers at Dubai Airport had their passport stamped in Saudi’s national green colours with the slogan “Saudi Arabia and UAE #Always Together”.
The airport’s columns and interactive electronic displays were adorned with the Saudi emblem, while immigration counters were also decorated with the neighbouring flag.
Dubai is celebrating Saudi Arabia’s National Day on Sunday with a line-up of events and activities around the city.
The celebrations, which will begin by welcoming visitors from Saudi Arabia with sweets, flowers and coffee upon arrival at the Dubai International Airport, reflect the strong relations between the people of both countries.

Starting from Thursday, Dubai airport’s celebrations will include a water salute to an aircraft arriving from Saudi Arabia while flowers, Arabic sweets and coffee will be offered to Saudi visitors arriving in Dubai. Saudi national songs will also be played in the arrivals section of Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
