Ras Al Khaimah: Al Shuhada (Martyrs) Street in Ras Al Khaimah caved in on Tuesday due to heavy rains, following which the police have cordoned off the affected area.

Ras Al Khaimah Police have urged motorists to take extra caution and reduce their driving speed after the road collapsed due to a landslide caused by the downpour. The incident happened on the side of the street heading towards Emirates Road.

Meanwhile in Al Ain, traffic disruptions occurred as some roads collapsed due to the heavy rains that lashed the city overnight.

Notably, in Al Qou' area, extensive damage led to road collapses, creating deep potholes—one of which swallowed a white car.

Some onlookers gathered around these unexpected hazards. The city also experienced an unusual bout of severe hailstorms.
