The video was taken in the upscale area of Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) in Dubai, which is one of the emirate’s most touristic hotspots.
In the online video, viewers can see how two men wearing kandoras (traditional Emirati wear) handed out bank notes to pedestrians who just happened to be in the neighbourhood.
During the conversation with residents, the men can be heard saying that the cash was a gift from a prominent Emirati businessman.
