Dubai: Meet Rayyan Arkan Dhika, an 11-year-old Indonesian sensation who has taken the internet by storm with his incredible dance moves. Dubbed the young 'aura farmer,' Rayyan shot to viral fame for his effortless cool factor while dancing on the prow of a speeding boat during the traditional Pacu Jalur event in Indonesia.

Rayyan's energetic performance has won over millions globally, even inspiring famous athletes like Travis Kelce and Alex Albon to imitate his unique dance steps. His moves are now widely seen as the epitome of "aura farming," an internet term referring to the cultivation of a positive, charismatic energy that naturally attracts attention and admiration.

Who is Rayyan Arkan Dhika?

Born on December 28, 2014, in Kuantan Singingi, Riau, Indonesia, Rayyan is currently a Class 5 student. He began dancing on boats at just nine years old, following in the footsteps of his father and uncle, both accomplished Pacu Jalur athletes. Rayyan shared with the BBC that his viral dance moves were entirely spontaneous, a true moment of inspiration.

Rayyan's sudden fame has opened doors to exciting opportunities. He was recently appointed as a cultural ambassador by the Governor of Riau, his home province. He also had the honour of meeting with the Ministers of Culture and Tourism in Jakarta and performing on national television with his mother.

"Every time my friends see me, they say 'you're viral'," Rayyan shared. Despite his newfound celebrity, Rayyan aspires to become a police officer. For those hoping to follow a similar path, he advises prioritising good health to achieve their goals.

Indonesia's Minister of Culture, Fadli Zon, highlighted that dancing on the prow of a speeding canoe demands exceptional skill and balance, which is why children are often chosen for this challenging task. Rayyan's mother, Rani Ridawati, expressed concerns about his safety but finds reassurance in the presence of a dedicated rescue team and her son's strong swimming abilities.
