In a new message released recently, Al Qaida deputy leader Ayman Al Zawahiri said that the terrorist network does not kill innocent people.

Responding to questions posted on an Al Qaida-linked website, Al Zawahiri also said in the audio recording that Osama Bin Laden is healthy.

Al Zawahiri said that innocent people killed in Al Qaida attacks died as a result of "unintentional error" or because they were used as "human shields" by "the enemy."

He also said that "Bin Laden is healthy and well." The elusive Al Qaida leader is thought to be facing health troubles.

It was not immediately clear if the latest recording of Al Zawahiri is authentic.
