Amman: Convoys mobilised by the UAE Red Crescent have started to spread across the Jordanian districts bordering Syria taking the relief assistance to the displaced Syrians who have fled their country in the wake of the escalations there.

Volunteers working for the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) are on the ground in various Jordanian regions carrying out humanitarian work to alleviate the suffering of refugees.

In the first phase of the relief work, the RCA distributed over 6,000 parcels containing essential food items which will suffice for the next couple of months in the makeshift camps.
