Vienna, Austria: Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora has condemned recent violence in Tripoli.
Siniora says the overnight fighting between pro-and anti-government supporters that left four people dead in the northern city was undermining efforts to stabilise Lebanon.
Siniora said during a news conference on Monday that his government is making every effort is being made to end these types of conflicts.
Lebanese security officials say the violence since Sunday has killed a total of eight people and wounded 42 so far.
