Ramallah: Palestinian bedouins living between Occupied Jerusalem and Jericho were made homeless on Monday when Israeli forces demolished their homes.

Sources told Gulf News the bedouins are from the Al Jahaleen tribe which lived in the area for decades. Israel claims the houses were illegal and without any official license.

The families were only given a couple of hours of warning before the homes were razed. The sources said the Israel is clearing out Arabs living near the Israeli colony of Maalah Adomim.
