Baghdad: Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki called for a “complete'' cabinet reshuffle, according to a statement from his office on Sunday.
“The prime minister called for a complete ministerial reshuffle in accordance with the current situation,'' the statement said, describing Al Maliki's address to a closed session of parliament.
Maliki said previously that he wanted to change several cabinet ministers in his national unity coalition, but was opposed by the main parties in his coalition.
