Gaza: Gunmen have placed explosives at Gaza's border crossing with Egypt and demanded Palestinian police release a man suspected of involvement in the kidnapping of three Britons.
Eyewitnesses claim that around 20 men placed the explosives and threatened to stop the Rafah crossing from opening on Wednesday morning.
The action is just the latest incident in a recent spate of lawlessness that is threatening to cause a delay to Palestinian parliamentary elections.
British human rights worker Kate Burton and her parents were kidnapped last week from the Gaza Strip.
The trio were freed on Friday by the group called Brigades of the Mujahideen-Jerusalem which abducted them.
