Dozens injured in fire at Morocco bazaar

Rabat: A huge fire swept through a bazaar in eastern Morocco on Tuesday, injuring 31 people, authorities said on Wednesday.

Authorities are investigating what caused the fire that also destroyed at least 1,700 stalls in the Al Qods souk in the town of Taourirt, east of Rabat.

It took at least four hours for firefighters to put out the fire in the market that had more than 2,000 stalls.
