Abu Dhabi: A young man was killed and two other civilians were seriously injured, as the Iran-backed Al Houthi militias bombed the Salh District, east of the Yemeni city of Taiz, local media reported.

Medical sources told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that indiscriminate shelling targeting residential neighbourhoods led to the death and injuries.

The injured were admitted to hospital for treatment, a source said.
