Dubai: Saudi security authorities are continuing their search for a woman who went missing from her family’s home in Hail a week ago, local media has reported.
Al Anoud, a 24-year-old Saudi woman who suffers from epilepsy, went missing under mysterious circumstances. Her family lost contact with her since September 3 morning.
The missing woman’s handbag was found in a desert area, and efforts are continuing to reunite Al Anoud with her family.
The grieving family appealed for public help in finding their missing sick daughter, who left her family’s house in Hail seven days ago. The family requested everyone to cooperate with security authorities and report to police if they see her. Social media users reacted with hashtag #Al AnoudHailMissingWoman to mobilise public support to search for her.
In response to the hashtag, dozens of young volunteers have taken their four-wheel drive vehicles to comb the desert area between Al Jakkhfa and Taba where the woman is expected to have gone missing.
