Cairo: Fans of the spook had flocked to a unique event staged as part of the ongoing edition of the Riyadh Season in the Saudi capital.

Large numbers of buffs showed up at the “Scary Weekend” in the Boulevard Riyadh City, displaying innovations in putting on spooky masks and costumes.

Images and footage posted on the Boulevard Riyadh City’s Twitter account showed intense rivalry among fans during the two-day event to wear masks and costumes inspired by horror movie characters.

The third edition of the Riyadh Season was unveiled on October 21 with the motto “Beyond Imagination” featuring breath-taking events.
